Global Exihibition Plan

Aims of ShowCo’s Global Exhibition Plan are promotion and enforcement of a commercially acceptable frequency of a globally well balanced and appropriated system of High-Quality-Fairs.

Basic idea is a regularly recurring rhythm of two years of all leading international exhibitions which are elements of the Global Exhibition Plan for the poultry industry. With the idea that one leading international exhibition should occur in each region of the world, the Global Exhibition Plan contains no more than five to six High Quality Fairs for the poultry industry within two years. Thus, the Global Exhibition Plan provides a maximum of two to three leading international exhibitions per year, well distributed around the world.

It is characteristic of the High-Quality-Fairs that they are exhibitions which comprise the complete product offer, which means: the complete branches and sections around the domain of poultry, the complete range of products and services and the complete range of exhibitors. It is for this reason that ShowCo expresses the strong recommendation to their member companies to participate in the High-Quality-Fairs according to the Global Exhibition Plan.

The current ShowCo Global Exhibition Plan consists of the following shows:

  • Europe: VIV-Europe 2010 – even years
  • USA: IPE 2011* – odd years
  • Asia: VIV-Asia 2011 – odd years
  • Europe: EuroTier 2012 with WPS – even years

* IPE-Atlanta is very reluctant to change its yearly rhythm. Since 2007, the ShowCo companies, however, have been attending this exhibition only every other year.
