ShowCo
An initiative for introducing an optimized concept for trade fairs in the global poultry industry
Exhibitions are a crucial marketing tool in most businesses, and the poultry industry is no exception. This is where manufacturers expose their innovations, where growers come to keep abreast with the latest developments, where fruitful collaborations are formed and many important transactions are generated.

And yet, “too much of a good thing” can be detrimental. Often many similar exhibitions are held in one country or region, confusing both the manufacturers and also the poultry producers. In order to be truly beneficial, to maintain their edge in the long run, trade fairs must keep to a schedule that optimizes their effectiveness. When exhibitions have a wrong or not clearly defined topic, when they are too frequent, when too many shows are held over a brief period of time, this useful vehicle of commercial growth loses much of its value. Developers and manufacturers have fewer innovations to exhibit and less resources to invest in each trade fair, visitors have no reason to attend so many costly events, the numbers of participants in each exhibition drop significantly, the shows lose their momentum - and everyone loses!

Unfortunately, this is precisely what has happened in the international poultry industry over the past decade.

ShowCo was established to help improve this unfavorable situation!
